Greetings students and families of Unioto Elementary! It is a great honor to serve the students, staff, and community of the Union-Scioto Local School District. As an alumni of Unioto, I take great pride in our school and community. It is our goal at Unioto Elementary to create a partnership with parents and families. We know that each each child comes to school with hopefulness and anticipation of a positive school experience. Every staff member and parent play an important role in making each school year great! Communication is critical when building a strong home-school connection. I encourage parents to have open dialogue and two way communication with classroom teachers. We are proud of our collaborative relationship with our dynamic and involved parental community. Many of the wonderful aspects of our school rely on the continued support of our parents and families.
At Unioto Elementary we are committed to our district mission statement, "students will learn, lead, and make a difference". As a Leader In Me school our students are provided not only academic instruction but also leadership and life skills they need to be successful. Student success is rooted in creating life-long learners who develop the ability to reflect on their individual progress. We look forward to providing our best to every student, every day.
